Michelle Leung — a UC Berkeley collegiate figure skater — wakes up at 6:45 a.m. during the summer months to get ready to travel to the ice rink. After waking up she runs to the bus stop to catch the AC transit 6 bus at 7 a.m. During her time on the bus, she studies her MCAT preparation books: Leung is a pre-med student at UC Berkeley and hopes to be a medical doctor in the future.
At the rink she waits to start skating at 8:30 a.m. and in the meantime, she continually studies her MCAT books. Once getting on the ice, Leung practices a multitudes of tricks, including her routines for her upcoming competitions during the skating season. After her two hour session, Leung hurries to catch the bus for her 11 a.m. biochemistry class on campus.
